Asian shares traded mixed on Wednesday after Federal Reserve
Chairman Ben Bernanke assured markets that interest rates would remain low for
some time to come.
China's Shanghai Composite was up 0.34 percent or 7.36
points at 2,200.49.
Hong Kong's Hang Seng rose 0.38 percent or 89.03 points at
23,746.84.
Japan's Nikkei was up 0.13 percent or 19.67 points at
15,146.23.
Singapore's Straits Times added 0.16 percent or 5.15 points
at 3,197.23.
South Korea's Seoul Composite was down 0.34 percent or 6.90
points at 2,024.74.
Taiwan's Taiwan Weighted was flat at 8,254.87.
