Asian shares were lower on Thursday as caution ahead of the
European Central Bank's policy meeting later overshadowed potential gains from
Wall Street's record finish.
China's Shanghai Composite shed 0.18 percent or 3.77 points
at 2,135.84.
Hong Kong's Hang Seng declined 0.52 percent or 119.14 points
at 22,917.80.
Japan's Nikkei fell 0.32 percent or 45.81 points at
14,291.50.
Singapore's Straits Times was up 0.12 percent or 3.98 points
at 3,209.27.
South Korea's Seoul Composite was flat at 2,012.16.
Taiwan's Taiwan Weighted was flat at 8,278.58.
