Asian stocks were mixed on Friday, as focus turned to the
release of US jobs data for clues on when the Federal Reserve could cut back its stimulus program.
China's Shanghai
Composite slipped 0.43 percent or 9.56 points at 2,237.51.
Hong Kong's Hang Seng fell 0.34 percent or 81.67 points at
23,630.90.
Japan's Nikkei rose 0.33 percent or 49.57 points at
15,227.06. Singapore's Straits Times shed 0.39 percent or 12.06 points at
3,112.32.
South Korea's Seoul Composite was up 0.11 percent or 2.11
points at 1986.88.
Taiwan's Taiwan Weighted was up 0.19 percent or 16.26 points
at 8,391.80.
